Flashback sequences are placed jarringly throughout the conversation ripping the audience away from the present and into the minds of our characters. This interesting, and bold new style is meant to bring the audience closer to the characters and show this conversation as it would happen for Oliver and Lucas Davies. The sudden flashback sequences represent the unpredictably and often discombobulated presence of memories in our minds at any given time.
